The well-attended room saw 22 of 29 lots offered go under auctioneer Guy Charrison’s hammer, an impressive 76% success rate and generating sales values in excess of £3.3 million.

Working with partner agents across England and Wales, there were a number of notable successes.

Lot three saw new Network Auctions partner agent Balgores in Hornchurch achieve their first auction sale. The sale price far exceeded expectations and Balgores had won the client’s instruction by being the only local agent to offer a sale by auction opportunity.

Lot five saw long term Network Auctions partner agent Tudor Estates achieve a fabulous sale on a property in Westcliffe on Sea.  The property sold at nearly £100,000 above the guide price and exchanged contracts ahead of the auction thereby avoiding lengthy negotiations and the risks of an abortive transaction.

Lot Seven was a lot provided by partner agent Surelock whose client was delighted by achieving a price 25% above the reserve figure.

Toby Limbrick, Managing Director at Network Auctions said: “With bidding in the room, by proxy, telephone and internet our latest auction saw tremendous interest created and demonstrated the benefits of local agents working with a national auction house in attracting both local and London based buyers.

Some of the sale results were excellent with prices achieved being higher than the properties had been previously offered at in their local markets.”

Network Auctions next sale is in London on May 1st and lost are now being taken for inclusion.
