The auction, on Thursday 11th December at the iPro Stadium, will be the company’s seventh and final auction of the year and with total sales for the city already hitting £29.8m, 2014 is set to go out with a bang.
Andrew Parker, director at Graham Penny Auctions, commented: “2014 has been a highly successful year for us in our Derby auction room and across the rest of the Midlands. We have maintained an 80 per cent success rate in the city across the year which gives us – and our vendor clients – huge confidence going into our December auction.
Our vendors for this auction also have the added bonus that any sales will exchange in the auction room with completion taking place straight after Christmas – a nice little windfall to help start the New Year in style!”
So far this year Graham Penny Auctions has raised over £56.1m in sales for its clients across the East Midlands including £29.8m in Derby.
Andrew added: “We are firmly established as the go-to auction house in Derby. We sell more properties by auction than any other company in the city and we have a trusted database of thousands of potential buyers across the country who are waiting to make their next purchase in our auction room.”
