Allsop’s July residential auction achieved a nearly 85% success rate across two days.

So far this year, Auction House sales have totalled £76.6 million, a 40% increase from 2024.

July saw auction volumes increase 3.6%, with over 4,500 lots offered, according to data from the Essential Information Group (EIG).

Auction sales across England are up almost 9% in the last year, according to data from specialist lender Octane Capital.

The next Allsop residential auction will take place on 17th and 18th September 2025.

EIG reported a 6.3% year-on-year fall in lots sold at auction in June 2025.

30% of buyers were new to the format, according to Allsop.

This month's event marks the firm's seventh dedicated residential auction of the year.

52% of homes go sale agreed within two months, yet completions remain slow.

20 of the 102 lots are guided at £1 million or more.
