The firm reports that 70% of the 85 lots offered sold, including 19 prior to the sale, and expects the final figure to be even higher.
Cathy Holt, head of auctions at Sutton Kersh says: "We are already receiving numerous enquiries for lots which just failed to sell on the day. We will discuss any realistic offers with our vendors and advise them on the best course of action."
The day’s best performing lot was a residential investment on South Drive in Wavertree which sold for £290,000 off a guide of £250,000 plus. The three storey semi-detached property has been converted to provide 12 letting rooms and could produce income of over £45,000 per annum when fully let, a potential gross return of over 15%.
Other highlights of the sale at the Marriott Hotel in Liverpool city centre included a ground floor retail unit with two flats above in Wallasey which sold for £102,000 off a guide of £65,000 to £70,000.
Elsewhere a property on Stanley Park Avenue South in Walton producing annual income of £4,030 sold for £49,000. The guide price was £30,000 to £35,000.
Meanwhile, a tenanted 4 bedroom terrace in the Stoneycroft area of Liverpool generating £8,340 per annum achieved £83,000. The guide price was 65,000 plus.
