Watkin Jones has revealed that phase 1 of the build-to-rent (BtR) scheme, forward funded by L&G and including 402 units, has reached practical completion.

Gateway 2 approval allows Watkin Jones’ Bristol PBSA scheme to progress, supporting delivery of 484 student beds near Temple Quarter.

The scheme includes 260 beds: 219 ensuite cluster bedrooms and 41 self-contained studios.

The project has a projected gross development value of £182m at completion.
