Persimmon has acquired Warwickshire-based planning promotion company Lone Star Limited (LSL), further strengthening its strategic land function. The deal adds additional industry expertise and relationships to Persimmon’s operations.
Persimmon will retain LSL’s experienced team to ensure continuity for landowners and agents. LSL will continue to operate as a land promotion business, led by managing director Richard Burke, focusing on securing medium to large strategic sites and expanding the pipeline in attractive locations.
“Persimmon is delighted to announce the acquisition of Lone Star Land Limited,” said Liam Scott, deputy UK managing director of Persimmon. “This investment strengthens Persimmon’s strategic land platform and supports our broader growth ambitions.
“By combining Lone Star’s expertise with our own, we can unlock new land opportunities, creating long-term value for our partners, stakeholders and communities. And importantly, by retaining Lone Star’s experienced team, we’re ensuring continuity and enhancing our ability to deliver on Persimmon’s growth plans.”
“We’re delighted to be joining Persimmon as we look to strengthen and expand Lone Star’s position in the market,” said Richard Burke, managing director of Lone Star Limited. “This partnership provides the opportunity to leverage Persimmon’s scale and expertise, building on our existing long-standing relationships.
“I look forward to working with colleagues and customers alike to identify and accelerate both existing and new opportunities in the years ahead.”
