LHV Bank has completed two specialist buy-to-let transactions worth around £22m, backing the acquisition of 253 residential properties held across two SPV companies.

The deal marks the bank’s first direct loan in the social housing space.

The facility includes a five-year term amortised over 20 years and was drawn down within three weeks.

The five-year commercial investment loan was agreed on a 20-year amortisation profile.

LHV Bank offered a long-term financing structure without the need for personal guarantees to provide the borrower with the stability required to complete the acquisition.
