Agents Giving is calling on 1,000 property professionals to take part in The Great British Property Cycle Challenge 2026 this October, with funds raised supporting life-saving heart causes.
The nationwide fundraising challenge will bring together estate and letting agents, suppliers and other property professionals throughout October.
Supported by headline sponsor Rent Guarantor, the challenge will raise funds for the British Heart Foundation and Heartbeat Trust UK, as well as supporting a campaign to provide more defibrillators in local communities.
Participants can choose their own distance and route, with no minimum mileage or requirement to be an experienced cyclist.
Those taking part can cycle 10 miles or 100 miles, ride outdoors or use a static bike at home or in the gym. Participants can also take part individually, with family or colleagues, or organise an office-to-office challenge.
Agents Giving said the initiative is designed to allow property businesses to use their local networks to raise awareness of the importance of rapid CPR and access to defibrillators.
Up to 100,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur in the UK every year, making rapid access to CPR and a defibrillator an important factor in improving survival rates.
“We want 1,000 people from across the property industry to get involved, but our real ambition is to see estate agency offices everywhere getting on their bikes", said Agents Giving Chairman, David Newnes.
He added, “You don’t have to be a cyclist. Get your team together, set your own challenge and make your miles matter. It’s easy to take part and, together, we can make a real difference in our communities.”
The Great British Property Cycle Challenge will run throughout October, including Restart a Heart Day on 16 October.
