Dssmove.co.uk now features over 2,500 properties available for LHA tenants and has seen a 85 per cent increase in letting agent and landlord sign ups over the last three months.  Leads to agents and landlords are also up over the last six months and web traffic has increased by 500 per cent last four months.

Aki Elahi, Founder of Dssmove.co.uk commented:

“We are delighted to be working with the UK’s leading online letting agents.  We are generating high demand for LHA properties in London and the South East, Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester and Birmingham, so the additional stock feeds we are receiving from these online agents has come just at the right time.

We are genuinely surprised by the shortage of LHA properties in parts of the UK and we are working hard to bring on more agents and landlords.  For many inner city locations, there is a higher rent yield for LHA tenants than for private tenants, so letting agents have the opportunity to secure more profit in a market where their commissions are heavily under pressure.

James Davis, CEO Upad.co.uk comments:

“More and more landlords are recognising the commercial benefits of letting to LHA tenants and see that they are not bad for business.  Over the last 12 months, we have seen a significant rise in the number of properties available for LHA tenants and we see this as a growing trend over the next 2-3 years.

Dssmove.co.uk has cornered the market and is providing a niche service which is not offered by the big property portals, which make it almost impossible for tenants to search for LHA properties.“
