New appointment boosts Winterhill Largo property team

Asset valuation and recovery specialist Winterhill Largo has appointed Tom Snook as a graduate surveyor in its Manchester-based property team.

Tom joins the firm’s Deansgate offices after graduating from Reading University with a degree in real estate management. Neil Duckworth, chief executive of Winterhill Largo, said: “Tom is a talented and enthusiastic young man and we look forward to helping him to develop professionally and achieve his potential. Our property team is going from strength to strength right now, with growing demand from clients across all sectors for our portfolio of consultancy, valuation, management and disposal services.”

Tom’s role at Winterhill Largo includes the management and valuation of commercial and residential property, as well as agency and sales. Commenting on his new position, he said: “The team have enabled me to be hands on and involved from day one and senior colleagues in the property team have been extremely helpful. I’m enjoying the experience of going to a wide range of properties across the industrial, residential and retail sector and in different parts of the country. In due course I hope to complete my APC professional qualifications and to become a qualified chartered surveyor.”

Winterhill Largo continues to expand, with multiple acquisitions and the launch of new divisions of the business. Since September 2011, it has grown its workforce by 60 per cent, from five offices in the UK employing 60 staff, to a total of eight offices in the UK and overseas, with a workforce of almost 100.
