£60m of commercial stock heads to Allsop's July auction

Allsop has unveiled its fifth commercial auction catalogue of 2026, offering 88 lots with guide prices ranging from £85,000 to £2.2m.

Allsop has released its fifth dedicated commercial auction catalogue of 2026, offering a wide range of investment, mixed-use and commercial opportunities across the UK.

The catalogue contains 88 lots with guide prices in excess of £60m in total. Lot values range from £85,000 for a vacant commercial unit in Sydenham, London SE26 (lot 88) to £2m-£2.2m for a hotel and public house ground rent investment in Plymouth (lot 16). 

The average lot size is approximately £680,000, with total income across the catalogue exceeding £5.5m per annum. In total, 21 lots are guided at £1m or more.

The auction includes a mix of commercial and mixed-use properties located throughout the UK, with 55% of the lots situated within London and the South East. Sellers include:

  • Begbies Traynor
  • Farmfoods
  • Mackays Stores
  • OLIM
  • Pearl & Coutts
  • Praxis REM
  • USS

Administrators, friendly societies, pension funds, receivers, trustees and various other property companies and private investors are also among the sellers.

"Our July catalogue demonstrates the continued depth and diversity of stock coming to market through our commercial auctions," said Alex Neil, commercial auction partner at Allsop. 

"With more than £60m of opportunities on offer and income exceeding £5.5m per annum, the catalogue provides investors with a broad range of lot sizes, asset types and locations. As we move into the second half of the year, we continue to see strong demand from buyers seeking well-priced assets with attractive income-producing characteristics."

Catalogue highlights include a newly developed freehold convenience store in Hemel Hempstead let to Tesco, guided at £1.6m, and an entirely let freehold retail investment in Camden, London, guided at £900,000-£950,000 (7.22% GIY) (pictured).

A purpose-built convenience store occupied by ASDA in Wigan carries a guide price of £1.55m-£1.65m (6.45% GIY), while a freehold office investment in Sevenoaks is guided at £1.4m-£1.5m (8.57% GIY).

Other notable lots include the Plymouth hotel and public house investment, let on two long-term leases to Whitbread Group PLC and guided at £2m-£2.2m, a freehold industrial investment in Barnstaple let to Tritech Precision Products Ltd at £1.4m-£1.5m (8.57% GIY), and a large modern industrial investment in Jarrow guided at £1.7m-£1.8m (9.42% GIY).

The auction will be live streamed from 11am on Wednesday 15 July.
