The leading housebuilder has joined forces with HomeBuy Agent Moat to offer the amazing FirstTime Buyers’ Initiative (FTBI) on selected new homes at its stunning new Birling Grange development near West Malling.

The FTBI launch takes place at the Holiday Inn in London Road, Wrotham Heath, near Sevenoaks, on Thursday 29 October between 5pm and 7pm, when visitors can discover just how affordable it can be to become a homeowner at Birling Grange. With a limited number of places available for this invitation-only event, would-be buyers are being urged to act quickly to confirm their attendance.

Marie-Claire Travis, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says:

“For anyone who would otherwise struggle to afford a mortgage, this is a fantastic opportunity to purchase 100% of a brand new home now at Birling Grange for as little as 50% of the full purchase price. Anyone who thinks they could qualify for this superb offer should get in touch today to make sure they don’t miss out.”

FTBI is part of the Government’s HomeBuy initiative aimed at making home ownership more affordable for those who would otherwise find themselves priced out of the property market. It consists of a great-value loan covering up to half the purchase price, which is fee free for the first three years a low fee thereafter.

A limited number of FTBI are available to qualifying first-time buyers who have a household income of less than £60,000, even if they have no deposit. Full terms and conditions will be available at the launch event and can also be viewed here.

Marilyn DiCara, Moat’s Director of Sales, Marketing and New Business, says:

“We are delighted to be working with Taylor Wimpey in the delivery of the FirstTime Buyers’ Initiative at Birling Grange, and look forward to welcoming visitors to our launch event on the evening of October 29th.”

Birling Grange is a brand new semi-rural community near West Malling, comprising one and two-bedroom apartments through to magnificent six-bedroom homes and interspersed with 150 acres of green open spaces which will include allotments, playing fields and children’s play areas.

All new homes at the development will come equipped with eco-friendly innovations such as rainwater harvesting, while selected properties will also benefit from solar-powered water heating. In time, the development will also enjoy a good selection of local amenities, including a community centre, a convenience store, a school and a health centre. Local facilities already within easy reach include infant and junior schools, shops and pubs, while nearby Aylesford is home to a wider choice of shopping and schools for youngsters of all ages.

For commuters, West Malling railway station is just over a mile from the development and provides regular services to London Victoria. Maidstone is only 15 minutes away by road, while quick links to the M20 put central London within an hour’s car journey.
