Aldermore strengthens commercial mortgage team

Aldermore, the new British bank, has further strengthened its commercial mortgages lending team with four new appointments:

Stephen Taylor - joins Aldermore as a Commercial Mortgage Manager, with responsibility for underwriting and processing commercial mortgage applications. Stephen has more than 16 years experience and has held senior underwriting positions with NatWest Bank and Bradford & Bingley, as well as managing the mortgage packaging department of Exclusive Connections.

Darren Beard - also joins Aldermore as a Commercial Mortgage Manager. Darren previously worked for nine years for Santander, where he progressed from being a mortgage sales development consultant to a mortgage underwriter.

Simon Prince – has been appointed as a Lending Manager, covering London and the South of England.  Prior to joining Aldermore he held lending positions at Landesbank Berlin, Bradford and Bingley Property Finance, National Australia Bank and Hypo Real Estate.

Darren Switzer – joins Aldermore as a Lending Manager, focussing on the North West. Darren has over 25 years’ banking experience, firstly in commercial lending at Barclays, then specialising in property at Nationwide where he jointly managed the highly successful Manchester office. Recently he has helped found a finance brokerage.
